Packers WR Trevor Davis makes bomb joke at LAX, gets arrested (Yahoo.com)

When asked about their luggage, Davis inexplicably looked at the woman he was traveling with and said, “Did you remember to pack the explosives?”

Good grief.

His companion apparently replied “no,” and, showing she was the one with the sense in the couple, tried to get Davis to stop. Davis said, “Just kidding,” but it was too late.

Police were called immediately, and Davis was taken into custody for misdemeanor criminal threats. He was booked and released.

Fake news, Davis said and did no such thing. The charges have already been dropped, faster than Bill Clinton’s pants on Orgy Island.

I think you might be wrong about your first statement. He most certainly did, and was arrested.

And charges were never filed to begin with.

No, he didn’t. The police only reported what the luggage agent said, and didn’t attribute it to her either, they just announced it as if they investigated and it was fact. Nowhere has it been reported by the police, or anywhere else, exactly what Davis did say, and under what circumstances. The police know what really happened, that’s why they dropped it so quickly, they’re afraid Davis will sue.

Davis got railroaded by an airline luggage agent looking to get an easy ride on PTSD workers comp (this is available for airport workers who go through bomb scares), and by airport police who wanted to make an example out of him since he was an NFL player.

Screw all of them, and screw you fans who deserted Davis. He deserves a lot better than you jackals.

But FWIW, I cannot find confirmation of what you’re saying. If I ever do find it, we’ll be sure to say so. I figured if it was out there however, you would have linked it.

And while I never deserted Davis (admittedly mostly only because I didn’t give a shit about him before this happened and still don’t), I do appreciate you calling me a jackal.
