Do you have any idea how hard it was to find a ‘sexy football costume’ that didn’t have the number 69 featured?

To The Games!

Pats/Chargers:

Does Bill’s magic work on second year qb’s? Herbert has a 14-4 TD/INT number to date but was invisible vs the Ravens. But so was everyone else on the team. Perhaps the bye has allowed the D to figure some things out. The AFC West is sitting right there and the Chargers could run away with it if they play more consistent football.

Jags/Seahawks;

Like all dumb, ineffective coaches, Meyers couldn’t see which skill talent he should have leaned on. It was rb Robinson, not Lawrence, bozo. The latter’s 20 touches moved the chains and slowed the game down vs the Fins. And the TD score helped as well. He should have himself a day against a Seattle run D that has seen ghosts. Still, if Geno (in his last likely start) can chuck the ball more or less accurately towards Lockett and Metcalf, they should destroy the Jags secondary.

Bucs/Saints:

PFF notes that Winston’s individual game grades are all over the map-two with scores below 55 and two above 85. It was that sort of inconsistency that Arians realized was killing the chances of a good team. They came through that whole ordeal somewhat okay. The Saints seem to me to be a shaky 4-2. (go figure) Their D will give them a chance as they are in the top ten in fewest yards allowed per play and only the Bills have given up fewer TD passes. Speaking of, Brady is trending towards 51.

TEAM/Broncos:

Is Jeudy finally ready to go? Teddy B can use all the help he can get. The McLarin/Surtain battle should be entertaining-the former leads the league by a wide margin in contested catches and the former hasn’t given up a 20+ yard completion yet. For a team that the rumours say have given up on coach Fangio, they’re only one win from .500.

Have at it.
