So What Did You Do For The 4th

Well it’s not over yet.  I’m watching the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, which is one of the many reasons the world hates us, after coming back from the Willimantic Boom Box Parade and drinking outside my favorite watering hole, (which again had the best float in the parade), and eating one of the two tuna steaks I just grilled and fighting off the inside cat.  It’s 1:31 pm.  That’s a damn good start.

Also my daughter just totally burned my son.  His girlfriend is coming over and I said “so you can christen your car?”  and he said “It’s not big enough”, and without missing a beat my daughter said “and he’s not talking about the car.”

That kid’s gonna be in the burn unit for a while.
