Per ESPN, Seahawks Safety Kam Chancellor will end his holdout today and return to the Seahawks this afternoon. The news was formally broke by Stephen A. Smith, a noted #contentgenerator who you may remember as being referred to as “rusty ass cancer” (or the like) in Monday’s [DFO] comment section. One may suspect Smith only broke the news so that he could be the first to go to Twitter and criticize Chancellor for losing his holdout battle.
The Seahawks front office victory is rumored to be celebrated throughout the league where there would rather not be a precedence for restructuring key players with three years left on their contracts after their less important QB counterpart just received a $21mil/year deal.
The Seahawks did go 0-2 in his absence while giving up like, all the yards in the NFL. But Kam is returning with class, forgiving his teammates for not carrying the franchise in his absence and forcing him to return to the field after passing on $1.87million in game checks:
“Ima go help my teammates that are understanding of my position and the ones who aren’t,” Chancellor said in the text message. “God forgives all, why can’t i? Time to help us get back to the big dance. I can address business after the season. Me and Marshawn started a mission 2 years ago. I can’t let my Dawg down….Real talk.”
Chancellor is expected to play in this weekend’s home game against the Jimmy Clausen-led Bears where Chancellor would be the odds on favorite to out touch TE Jimmy Graham.
He’ll be in great shape too.

We all knew that Pete Carroll would have no idea how to use Jimmy Graham, right? Does this come as a shock to anyone?
Return of the Kam! Return of the Kam!
Now is that pronounced “rusty-ass” cancer or rusty “ass cancer”?
“We’re trying to see who can out touch who?”
