NFL News:

• Future LA Rams coach Rex Ryan was fired by the Bills.
  • Incoming coach Anthony Lynn said Tyrod Taylor will sit & EJ Manuel will start Week 17.
    • Not sure if it’s an audition or trade baiting.
• The Steelers are not happy with Terry Bradshaw over his calling Mike Tomlin a “cheerleader”, not a coach.
  • Expect a response from Bradshaw about “medication something something respect”.
  • Tomlin took his own shot via a “Hollywood Henderson” reference.
• The Lions have asked the worst call from the Monday Night game be reviewed.
  • While it didn’t really affect the final outcome, the crew’s marks might affect refereeing playoff assignments, so it’s nice to see a hint of Bill Belichick in Jim Caldwell.

For those of you unaware, the week between Christmas & New Year’s is Canadian heaven, because it’s World Junior’s season. For the uninitiated, imagine a tournament with each country’s Conor McDavid & Jack Eichel with two games a day over 7 days, just to determine a playoff round. It’s glorious, but the country spends 4 days mourning if we don’t win.

Dammit.
