Apparently…it was the worst.

My lineups across three sites:

Cashed nowhere with those three.

I did have a decent day with gpp but just didn’t have the right combo of players. For example, I didn’t have a single Evans/Chase/Kupp lineup, which would have been nice.

I actually had a lot of things go right this week, but I had two major things go wrong:

1. Amon-Ra St. Brown got a grand total of ZERO targets on his birthday in his hometown. I obviously drank the cool-aid when I should not have, but I wonder what kind of partying the Sun God did with his old college buddies on Saturday to warrant an apparent benching.
2. The Washington Football Team….

In the 4th quarter, on a 4th down with 2 minutes and 30 seconds left in the game, trailing 24 – 7, the WFT decided to…KICK A FIELD GOAL!!! I officially hate this fucking bunch of losers.

Additionally, I made a mistake that I really tried to convince myself was not a mistake, even as I knew I was doing it. I played two guys (McKissic and RSJ on Draftkings and Fanduel and Swift and St Brown on SuperDraft) from the same team in the same lineup. It’s okay to combine a QB with one of his receivers in cash, but it isn’t okay otherwise. That’s more of a gpp move because you are essentially creating more risk. If teams shit the bed, which they did, then you have two players holding your lineup back. Honestly, I got what I deserved yesterday.

Fast Thoughts because I’m Short on Time

Fuck. Sean. McVay. I actually have two people I specifically told to never let me play a McVay RB who didn’t say boo when I told them what I was going to do. You know who you are. This blood is on your hands too.

Adams and DHop did not do the type of damage that I thought, a pivot here or there would have changed things for me, but I stand by the plays in terms of the opportunity they provided.

I’d like to take a victory lap on the 2% owned Titans being able to handle Mahomes & Co, but my WFT and St. Brown plays truly hindered the gpp upside they gave me.

Harris was also a home run with his over 100 yards and 2 TDs, which I said was possible, but again…fuck the WFT and Lions, they were the albatross around my neck this week.

Hurts…I made the mistake of watching this game. He looks like shit but somehow put up 24.54 DK points. Seriously, I was watching the game and I was like “Hey, well at least I tried,” when it was over. But then I checked the points after the game and was dumbfounded. How did he do that?

I was actually proud of my cash lineup in terms of ownership as I had a 23% owned Hurts, 20% owned Adams, 2% owned DHop, 5% owned McKissic, and a 5% owned Pats DEF. However, Bateman came in at 50% and Henderson, who apparently sucks again, was 70%. I want to create a lineup with a safe floor that has upside and is also unique, but my lineup was just not as unique as I thought it was and it did perform at the level I needed.
