DFO Radio: One of Those Days

Last week, TheeWeeBabySeamus and his special guest Richie Incognito took over the microphone for the day, with the topic being “Having One of Those Days”.  As usual, the commentists were eager to celebrate my absence and came through with a very fine collection of music that, if it won’t make you feel better, will at least make you feel less alone.

This is a very unusual week for me in that it’s the first time in ages that my Raiders are headed into the draft and I have very little idea of who they’re going to pick.  It’s unusual for them to be picking so far into the first round, so God only knows who is going to be left on the board.  To further complicate things, the potential of Marshawn Lynch to pen a deal before the draft changes the calculus.  If he doesn’t sign, they may end getting tempted by one of the quality running backs that might fall into their laps.  If he does, they will probably target a defensive player, with glaring needs at linebacker, defensive tackle, and an ever-present hunger for quality secondary players.  As always, it’s fun to experience the Cleveland superposition principle in action (a player isn’t shitty until Cleveland drafts him!) and I can’t wait to see if Goodell sets a new decibel record for booing.

Something that happened over the weekend that brought me great mirth: Ezekiel Elliot’s mother pwning the shit out of a racist fuckwit with the handle “1bamajimbo”.  Call me crazy, but I’m willing to be that you’re not going to see 1bamajimbo questioning how Christian McCaffrey was able to afford *his* car while at Stanford.
