I didn’t have a chance to check out Dead Island when it originally came out, but it’s got a sale and free weekend going on Steam so I figured it was worth a shot. Played a little co-op with my brother. It’s quite satisfying to cut a zombie’s head off. Might be worth the $4 to pick up, despite being a bit dated now in terms of graphics and a somewhat shitty console interface and control system.
Oh yes fellow members of the Commentist Party, I am also verily a member of the PC Master Race. What’s getting your drive hard this weekend?
I just bought WarTech: Senko No Ronde for 360 at Gamestop for 89 cents, so looking like a solid purchase there. Either that or maybe I’ll finally start Super Mario Galaxy for reals this time.
Well, my Razorbacks are shitting the bed against Texas Tech, so I may fire up Witcher 3. I’ve really enjoyed it when I’ve played it, but it’s failed to pull me in so far. I’m still pretty early in though.
Playing Metal Gear Solid V right now and I can’t express how awesome it is.
Are there any good turn-based rpgs on steam. I am super new to it (3 weeks of having a decent computer).
I really enjoyed the Penny Arcade games. On the Rain-Slick…
Funny, tons of references if you read the comics, and surprisingly good story lines.
If you enjoy the tactical portion of turn-based, with a bit of RPG-ness thrown in I suppose, XCOM is fucking fantastic.
Minecraft. My 5 year old son loves stampycat. We play multiple times per day.
Not much gaming time lately on account of the move, but I’m eyeing the Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC.
I finally got around to playing Bioshock Infinite. The revelation of what the “lottery” is in the beginning is still one of my favorite things in video games.
Bioshock Infinite was a terrific game.
The Bioshock series is probably my all time favorite video game series.
The storytelling is top notch.

I also have Shadow of Mordor languishing in my “Haven’t Played Yet” game section in my Steam library. Along with Tomb Raider. And Endless Legend. And Pillars of Eternity. And…
I started Tomb Raider, and really enjoyed it, but ended up getting distracted by some other game.
Tends to happen a lot.
A friend highly recommended Tomb Raider to me. Sitting in said pile…
Gotta play Mordor. It’s fun.
Played the first DI all the way through. It’s fun, but unless you are doing co-op, it gets old fast. It’s also glitchy AS FUCK.
I have been and continue to be in love with FTL: Faster Than Light: http://www.ftlgame.com/
I got it over a year ago on sale for $2.50 and I can honestly say it’s the only game I actually wished I paid the full price for.
For PS3, I’ve been kind of playing Metal Gear Rising off and on. Wanted to play it before getting into 5, but I don’t know if I will have time to finish it before Fallout 4 comes out and rules my life.
With your love of FTL, have you checked out Bedlam? Came out of early access just this week. It’s FTL + Mad Max + Banner Saga I hear.

I have not. I’ll have to check it out.
I am super pumped for Sheltered though – FTL meets Fallout: http://store.steampowered.com/app/356040/
I’m waiting for it to get out of early access before getting it though.
Mad Max currently has my PC by the soul, although I still dip into GTA Online every night to get my daily objectives.
My Steam library is a list of AAA games that I hope to get around to actually playing someday. Especially you, Shadow of Mordor.
I have Dead Island too, and enjoy it when I play it. I tend to play Dying Light and Dead Rising 2/3 more than DI though.
