I spent a good chunk of my day helping my mom find a blueray player that would work with her first generation HD TV, which by design now don’t. I did the research and inspected her TV and we ended up with an HDMI to DVI converter but she doesn’t have sound. Instruction manual already just lied about a problem/fix, I already have 4 hours blocked off tomorrow to fix it, I should just pretend to be incompetent so people don’t ask me to do stuff
I also missed part of the 3rd period of the Hawks game and my dog who had been doing well had 2 seizures today.
I try to pull of that same plan, but I double down on it by actually being incompetent.

That’s nice. It’s been a while since I’ve seen fall colors. I lot of people really complain about it down here but I figure it’s a small price to pay for never having to shovel again, and never having to hear the words “black ice” or “lake effect.”

Two people I know are really good, one a wildlife photographer. It’s a great artistic and creative outlet, and if you work it hard enough a fantastic discipline of thought and concentration. The history of the art form is very interesting too.
Now I will go be depressed and watch some TV.
Keep going. I go through phases, but never practice enough to get good or develop the eye.
You should put a portfolio together online.
I really wish I knew the first thing about photography and kept a camera handy. I’m out in the woods at parks at least a few times a week and really wish I could have caught some of the wildlife that I’ve seen. Used to have a few good gator pics from down in the glades, but my asshole ex never bothered to back them up like she said.
I’m gonna go watch The Venture Bros and attempt sleep; if that fails I’ll be back later. If it works out, i hope I sleepwalk my way into history in some major incident that somehow involves riding into battle on one of those playground horses mounted on an industrial spring. Wish me luck!
