Gen Pop!!! Hope everyone is nursing their holiday hangovers and recovering from way too much time with their families! We’re in the final hours of 2016 and hopefully the new year brings you and yours GREAT PROSPERITY (and sex). We got a good podcast for you to listen to as you pre-game for whatever your NYE plans are this weekend. We cover some important games from Week 16 that had playoff implications, we discuss the handful of Week 17 games that actually matter and we have a fun segment on the upcoming Free Agent/Potentially Available quarterback class. We go over five key guys who could be headed elsewhere next year and where we think they might land. As usual, we throw some scraps into the Basket of Deplorables and round out the final podcast of 2016 with some gambling picks!

We’ve been recording this podcast since Week 2 of the NFL season, borne out of a desire to hear ourselves speak and shove ourselves into the limelight. It’s hard to balance four voices on a podcast, especially ones as loud and overconfident as you get on the Free Ballin’ Football Podcast, but I think we’ve figured it out as the weeks have gone on. We came on the DFO scene way back in Week 8 when our scumbag former lawyer, Rocco Riscaldi, sent our introductory letter to the DFO Clubhouse and we haven’t looked back. We welcomed Darkest Timeline Zack Morris on the podcast to talk about the Rams and the history of DFO. The Podcast Collective has been grinding every week to make sure we’re as (un?)informed and entertaining as possible and we hope you guys have enjoyed it. We have always said we want to take this thing to the top and to dominate the internet airwaves and we thank DFO and DTZM for giving us this bully pulpit to shout our thoughts to the masses.

So what’s in store for 2017? Well, we’ll be here through the playoffs bringing you increasingly angry takes as the Patriots bulldoze through an extremely shallow AFC playoffs. We are hoping to have some guests to talk about some of the playoff teams and some gambling advice since even you casual gamblers come out of the woodwork as the Super Bowl approaches. As you know by now, the Basket of Deplorables is NEVER full and she is a hungry minx, so we’ll continue to throw all the losers of the playoffs in there.

Now I’ll make the classic internet mistake of asking for feedback. Where do you, the listeners, want us to go in 2017 (other than into a dark hole)? What do you like, what don’t you like? Let us know in the comments! I promise, we can take criticism. We may go on Spokeo, find out where you live and come to your house to pelt you with eggs, but we’ll listen first.
