Let’s get to it.

Pats/Bills:

Does anyone care about New England any more? To me they’re a non-entity like Tampa-there’s nothing to distinguish them, they just don’t stand out in the crowd. If you miss this game they play again the week after next-I hate it when the schedule is done like that. It could somewhat be justified if the teams were competitive and battling for the division title. (at the outset of the year) But everyone knew that the Pats were going to suck this year, so why?

Vikes/Seahawks:

Sort of an odd matchup this late in the season, huh? Is anybody thinking trap game? A team with a great record that seems a bit suspect. (although their metrics aren’t bad) The whole ‘traveling across the country thing. When is Minny’s D going to get proper credit? Is McConnell going to win Coach of the Year? He’s vastly exceeded expectations and perceptions, that’s usually enough.

Jags/Raiders:

Why are they playing this game? Somebody could make up a score and put it in the paper and no one would question it.

Niners/Fins:

The Battle of the Disappointing Teams! With San Fran it was because of a series of devastating injuries but what’s McDaniels’ excuse? He just can’t beat good teams and that just might be a drawback when trying to get over the hump.
