That’s about all we’ve got for football this evening folks. We watched all 272 regular season games (maybe not all of them) and now it’s time for the important ones.

I’ll throw a few things at you and then you can do your thing.

-The Bears have asked to speak to Mike McCarthy? Does Poles want to know whether Jerry is just that nutty? Ah, it’s early days and they should have a few people to go through-may as well toss him on the list.

-There’s an “Aaron Rodgers Country Club” going on in the Jets locker room? This according to Rex Ryan, who if I’m not mistaken was a player’s coach himself that had great results early on and then the lack of structure manifested itself and then he was canned. Still, I don’t mind guys taking a swipe at Mr. Self Important.

-Btw, if the Jets retain Qaron and Davante Adams, Garrett Wilson would be a fool not to force a trade.

-Sure looks like the Pats/Kraft have their hearts set on Mike Vrabel according to early reports. Sounds like they’ll make the very same mistake they made last year by not conducting a full search.

-Packers will need all the help they can get next round but they won’t be getting any from yet-again injured Christian Watson, who blew an ACL. Most of next year will be a write-off for him and you wonder about his career arc at this point.

-Are the Saints even conducting a coaching search? I’ve not heard a peep or anything. Of course, who the hell wants to walk into that salary cap hell that they’re wallowing in courtesy of GM Mickey Loomis who doesn’t seem to be going anywhere?
