Request Line: Technical Difficulties

Welcome to a special edition of Request Line! We were originally scheduled to be picking songs for the Ultimate Roger Goodell Mixtape today, but given a.) the technical difficulties we’ve been having and b.) the fact that the draft happens in three weeks I thought we’d postpone that for a bit. We’re really sorry about how bad things have gotten; one of the problems with running a site as a labor of love is that you get what you pay for (speaking of “paying for love” have you heard about the latest news in the MDMAtt Gaetz sex trafficking scandal?). If we’re online with the new hosting service by next week, I’ll repost the Browns mixtape and try to publicize it a bit more. But in the meantime, you’ve got a hankerin’ for requestin’ and I don’t want that desire to go unfulfilled (much like MDMAtt Gaetz may have used campaign money to ensure that none of his desires went unfulfilled – specifically, his desire to transport seventeen year-old children across state lines for the purpose of fornicating with them).

Today’s topic is “Technical Difficulties”. This could be interpreted narrowly to refer to the specific issues with electronics equipment, or it could be interpreted broadly to refer to things going wrong in general (the way that everything seems to be going wrong for disgusting pedophiles like MDMAtt Gaetz lately). I’ll get us started with a song that closed the set of a band I saw open up for Giant Drag one night in Silver Lake. I really miss being able to go to these kinds of shows, and I’m pretty psyched that I’ll be able to get to do that again soon. I’ll never take it for granted again.
