Chip’s Eagles get a Little Lighter; Boykin to Steelers

Chip Kelly is answering those critics the best way possible. By sending his best Cornerback Brandon Boykin across that great Alabama Sea known as mid-state Pennsylvania to their in state rivals Pittsburgh Steelers. In return the Eagles get a 2nd 3rd conditional 5th round draft pick.

The rest of the league is upset by the deal the Steelers got with one owner threatening legal action “This is a clear violation of  Article 1, Section 2, Paragraph 3 of the US Constitution. They should have gotten at least 3 5th rounders.”  – Jerry Richardson

In other words I’m pretty sure DTZM asked for volunteers. If you ask nicely you can probably get the Seahawks. Not sure who wound up with them.

Cuntler and BoS got together a great list. Sometime around the 26th-28th of August we are looking for a C-Hox preview. Moose is currently slated the preview but I don’t know that he is wedded to 12th manhood. Or you could partner up with him on it, as those of us are doing when it is shared team.

OK, had no idea teams had been doled out already. If they get thrown my way, I’ll happily spew out a few thousand words about them (provided I’m able to use “precocious” no less than 127 times). If someone else writes it, I’ll happily read it.*

*Granted, I’ll be crushed and broken inside, a mere shell of my former Beastself, and I’ll no doubt end up a bitter and angry crank, but…ah, who are we kidding? That’ll probably happen anyway.

I am betting someone will repost the sign-up list at the beginning of the week, I am sure. I recall that we had to nudge Moose a little into taking Seattle in the first place. In our defense, the list was generated prior to the Great Exodus, so with the sudden glut of talent we should definitely post it up again and see if there are any new takers.

Also, filling out the AFC South was like trying to get teenagers to dance together at prom so if anyone has a hard on for the Texans or the Titans I am quite certain Snow would cry nary a tear to share that wealth.
