As a Canucker on the outside looking in, I Bart Scott* for next Tuesday. All you brilliant folks are going to really bring it-I feel it in my bones/inherent boner. A reality show star may end up representing the GOP…and the corporate media will take the whole situation seriously! [drinks copiously in anticipation]

Games-wise most everything is underway already. As per the usual the NBA gives us a big load of nada. The hockey has NYR/NJ and NYI/MIN-tis good times in the larger New York area, isn’t it? Most of college ball is happening already-ALA/# 16 UK, #2 KU/# 19 BAY and #6 MSU/OSU are the most watchable tilts.

*can’t wait

I hate, fucking loathe, empty threats. Don’t enjoy being right about figuring out a threat is empty; I just feel angry. It drives me nuts being ordered to make one. (Oh, you fell for it? You are a dumbass and I feel like shit.) I can’t even grasp the fun in poker. It’s like the chess game at the beginning of Catch-22: the game gets so engrossing that you block out everything else to the point that it becomes uninteresting.
Maybe being scared is the answer. Not insecure; more than that–full-on, shit yer pants, petrified mumbling, hen without a head stumbling, “I’M GONNA FUCKING DIE” fear. Automatic decisions are digestable.

I am in full agreement. I always told myself that when I was at a point in life where being lazy and eating everything in sight wasn’t a problem anymore, I’d stay lit up constantly. Now that I have reached that point, I find I’m already lazy (and also prone to eating everything in sight) to a point where I cannot get motivated to go out and buy pot.
