In case you didn’t know, and if you didn’t then you haven’t been watching any TV, Blizzard Entertainment’s new team-based face shooter, Overwatch, is coming out this week for PC and the lesser platforms. I’ve gushed about this game several times in the past, and after getting my hands on the open beta, it’s all been reinforced. This game is excellent. It’s got the typical Blizzard polish; it’s tight, fast, balanced, and with more characters than Brandon Marshall’s therapy sessions.
What you may not have seen, however, are the movie-quality animated shorts Blizzard has put out. I believe they’re planning on one for each character, or at least that’s what I hope. So, watch some Overwatch. So Commentists, what’s getting your drive hard this week?
P.S. Damn I feel bad for that Brandon Marshall joke. Mental health is a serious issue, but that was too good to pass up.
So Overwatch is going the TF2 route for their hype videos is what you’re saying.
Granddaughter number one has officially been corrupted. She just turned 11 and I got her a phone.
She was so damn jazzed.
Her parents may feel otherwise.
It’s my job as a grandaddy to corrupt absolutely.
She already received texts and calls from about 8 family members.
Awesome.
My 11 year old niece just got hers. I guess 11 is the age of the phone now.
That “feah of spidahs” chick is kinda hot.
I might have to upgrade just for this. So where do they sell the new Atari systems anyway?
Never ever apologize for a well-executed Brandon Marshall joke.
Indeed. My oldest kid has teh Brandon Marshall disorder, and laughter is indeed the best medicine. All good in the hood, yo.
I GRANT THEE SANCTUARY
The assholes here in Denver, even after hearing about the disorder….. well, they are just fucking assholes.
I’ve been a Blizzard fan boy since Warcraft 2. If there’s one thing they do well, it’s knock CGI movies out of the park.
Back to the original point, I attempted to play Dragon Age Inquisition for the first time since upgrading my machine a while back, and discovered it no longer loads. So I’m trying to decide if I’m going to put myself through the Hell on Earth on figuring out compatibility for an EA game on Windows 10, or finally get around to doing the last 2 chapters of Walking Dead Season 2.
