It’s an old episode of SCTV, taped off TV. The old local commercials are ridiculous, and the CBC bumpers are laughable. The Rough Trade appearance is very 1981; I can’t figure out why all the guys in the band are bald, but I’m guessing the English majors they date don’t care about looks.

Tonight is the last full night of the NHL regular season; the Panthers & Bruins have a make-up game tomorrow. For we Canucks fans, it’s time to start looking forward to hate-watching the Leafs until they are out of the playoffs. Then it’s rooting for Canada’s real team for the 2018 playoffs – the Winnipeg Jets!
