- Players who opt-out of the season will only get the league stipend if they have been diagnosed “high risk”.
- Last year, all players who sat out qualified.
- Vaccinated players who have to sit out due to exposure will receive their per-game roster bonuses.
- e.g., Active List roster bonus, Active/Inactive List roster bonus
- Non-vaccinated players who catch COVID will not receive any contract monies for the period they are absent.
- This means teams can challenge whether a COVID-19 infection is football related for players who haven’t been vaccinated.
- No matter how they may actually have caught the virus.

With all the Canaidens news, I harken back to about 15 years ago, when I was working for a different company, and this French guy was contracting with us (named Jean-Batiste, because of course).
