So I was, really going to review the 2017 Buffalo Bills draft this today but the thing is the things I get paid to do got in the way, and now it’s late, I just watched the series finale of ‘Better Call Saul’, (well done Odenkirk & Co., well done indeed), (if Rhea Seehorn doesn’t get an Emmy I will be slightly upset before realizing that no one takes the Emmys seriously anymore), and I still have bills to get paid and early Court tomorrow.
So 
I’ll try to do better next week. I mean, the Bills took Nathan Peterman in the 5th round, and there fruit doesn’t hang much lower than that. Discuss stuff amongst yourself until Game Time Decision does the responsible thing and gets the Comments of the Week up. I could learn a thing or two from him.
But I probably won’t.

The Bills’ 2017 draft:
1- Tre’Davious White, CB, LSU
2A – Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina
2B – Dion Dawkins, OL, Temple
5A – Matt Milano, LB, Boston College
5B – Nathan Peterman, QB, Pitt
6 – Tanner Vallejo, OLB, Boise State
Pick 1 started his rookie year and has been to 2 Pro Bowls and was selected All-Pro twice. Grade: A
Pick 2A finished 2018 as Buffalo’s leading receiver before being traded to the Raiders. He is now with the Jaguars. Grade: B
Pick 2B is still with the Bills and has gone to one Pro Bowl. Grade: A
Pick 5A is still with the Bills and just signed a four year extension. Grade: A
Pick 5B provided much comedy and is still in the league with the Chicago Bears which ensures more comedy to come. Grade: B+
Pick 6 has bounced around the league and is currently in Arizona. Grade: B+
Overall, pretty damn good and impressive draft as everyone is still playing and there are a couple of All-Stars in there.

There have been way toooooo many weeks where my post is either late or done seconds before the scheduled time. I have been trying to get it done earlier but, like, life happens and I’m rushing to make the post time again.
However, those weeks where the plan does work and the post is ready either Monday night or early Tuesday morning is a good feeling.
And it’s not the kind of post I can hand off to someone else at the last minute and still be fair ( to beee faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiir) the other author.

There have been times on Mondays/Thursdays when I’ve been caught at work and have to race home to get the football threads going. Haven’t been pulled over for speeding yet!
