Request Line: Trigonometry

INT. RECORDING STUDIO – DAY

Once again, all the lights are off in the studio, and it’s completely silent.  The studio lights come on…

…and in the hallway that leads to the studio a series of frantic footsteps can be heard.

— [DOOR FLIES OPEN] —

HUNTER RENFROW: [tossing his bike helmet and backpack onto the couch and making his way directly over to the soundboard] I’m here, I’m here!  With ninety seconds to spare!

DJ 3000′: [calmly] ACTUALLY, WE’VE GOT A FULL FIVE MINUTES AND NINETY SECONDS.  I SET ALL THE CLOCKS ON YOUR DEVICES AHEAD BY FIVE MINUTES SO YOU’D GET HERE ON TIME.

HUNTER RENFROW: Which I did!  But, uh, thanks, I guess.

DJ 3000′: WHY WERE YOU CUTTING IT SO CLOSE THIS WEEK?

HUNTER RENFROW: I was just trying to get my trigonometry homework finished before I came over.

A graph prints out and a red light attached to DJ 3000”s console begins flashing.

DJ 3000′: INTERESTING, CAUSE THAT’S NOT WHAT MY TRUTH MODULE SAYS YOU WERE DOING.

HUNTER RENFROW: Okay, okay, I was about to do my trigonometry homework, just as soon as I finished reading about this new theory on the Horus Heresy.

DJ 3000′: [sounding puzzled] WAIT, THERE ARE ALTERNATIVE THEORIES ON THE HORUS HERESY? I THOUGHT THAT WAS, LIKE, CANON.

HUNTER RENFROW: Oh, they tinker with stuff all the time. You see, the idea is that when the Primarch Fulgrim was fighting with Ferrus Manus…

DJ 3000′: HANG ON, HANG ON, YOU CAN TELL ME ABOUT IT ONCE WE GET REQUEST LINE ROLLING.  HAVE YOU GOT A TOPIC FOR US?

HUNTER RENFROW: [pulls a sheaf of papers out of his backpack] I sure do!

DJ 3000′: HOMEWORK?

HUNTER RENFROW: No, trigonometry! I thought we could do songs about triangles, vertexes, lines, planes, et cetera.

DJ 3000′: [runs a quick scan] OKAY, I THINK THAT SHOULD BE GOOD.  ONE THING – NO SONGS ABOUT CIRCLES – I WANT TO SAVE THAT TOPIC FOR MARCH 14.

HUNTER RENFROW: Deal.

DJ 3000′: I GOT A GOOD ONE TO GET US STARTED WITH, CHECK THIS OUT.

Today’s theme is “Trigonometry”.  We’re looking for songs that have anything to do with trigonometry – squares, triangles, pentagrams, octagons, angles, points, lines, rays, planes, vertexes, etc.  Let’s avoid songs about circles and things that are round; we’ll be doing that a separate topic later on in the season.  Please post links as “https://www.youtube.com/watch?0rToN_P4rK and they should embed in the comments after you refresh.  Last week’s puzzle answer of “Good Times Bad Times” by Led Zeppelin was solved instantly by SonOfSpam.  Let’s get to it!

Here’s a last round from me, chosen for the singer’s name, and the overall message of the song as well.
