Monday Morning Mock Draft: F*ck It’s Hot

Guten Tag drones.

As you read this I am likely driving 90 minutes each way for a Court-ordered hearing that will last 15 minutes.  Also it is going to be between 90-95 and humid.  I’ll be wearing a suit, and on the way home I’ll probably be stopping at my mother’s to put in the window AC-unit that she bought two years ago for a dog.

Did us kids have ACs when we were growing up?  Much like the British, we did not.

In addition, as I write this I am patiently waiting for word from Mrs. Horatio that her plane is leaving Florida and I can pick her up in Hartford three hours from then.

I am writing this after 7 pm and, again, I need to be 90 minutes away from home first thing in the morning.

All of this is a way to a) pad the word count and b) let you know that I am putting exactly no thought into this.

This week’s topic has been pulled from the files of earlier suggested topics.  My notes indicate that, at some point, frequent contributor Rikki-Tikki-Deadly suggested Simpson’s Celebrity Guests.  So that’s the topic this week:  People who appeared as guest characters on The Simpsons.  The only qualifier I’ll put here is that they can’t be frequent fliers, so Phil Hartman is not eligible.

RTD gave me his first pick, Dustin Hoffman as Mr. Bergstrom.  Hence the featured image.

With the second pick I will take Wade Boggs as himself, because without him we would not have the “Lord Palmerston!  PITT.  THE.  ELDER” bar debate that I probably quote more than anything else from The Simpsons.
