I thought I’d throw something together to bridge the gap between Hippo’s stuff and the nighter and my excuse is that there are some college bowl games on and this here is a site that apparently embraces that sport. There’s one problem however. I know nothing about these here teams. So a conventional preview is out of the question. I have some other wee thinky-thoughts as well.

Pat Shurmur:

I mean, he won’t get another HC gig again will he? His remarkably shitty W/L record speaks for itself. Maybe he can succeed on the college level? I just saw with mine own eyebulbs that he has a dreadful lack of imagination. Sure he was hampered by a lousy O-line but that lousiness is amplified when you do boring crap like run a homerun hitter up the middle on 1st down over and over again. (have I been saying this for 4 years now? Yes, I have) An ‘extensive’ search for the next coach has been promised but every Giant fan knows that we’ll be getting some more vanilla ice cream.

Freddie Kitchens:

He was just so far over his head it was embarrassing to watch-Mayfield’s regression didn’t help things at all either. Brownies front office must be credited with cutting him loose rather than thinking, ‘maybe he’ll grow into the job’.

Bruce Allen:

Potato Skins fans are in ecstasy given the news that’s he’s been let go. The rot eating away at the franchise has been centered on Snyder of course but hardcore followers (those few that are left) see him as another significant cause.
