Welcome to the new week, folks. If you made it through the weekend without your mother having engaged in horribly degrading sex acts with dozens of strangers recruited from the bowels of Reddit’s most offensive subgroups, take a step forward. Not so fast there, Old School Zero. Aw, I’m just kidding, there, buddy. Dozens is a vast exaggeration. It was seven or eight, tops.
The weekend here in Los Angeles featured some of the strangest weather I’ve ever seen since I moved here: a full day of rain in the middle of July. Thunderstorms are rare around here, and to have them pass through all afternoon was quite an experience. I really enjoyed loafing around watching the British Open this morning; I can’t wait to see how things turn out. There’s a good chance that either an amateur will win the tournament (for the first time since 1930) or Tony Romo’s BFF Jordan Spieth could become the first golfer to win three grand slam events in the same calendar year since Ben Hogan did it in 1953.
Assuming I don’t have to clip anything out, this will be our biggest edition of KSK Radio ever, with a whopping 71 songs. Nice work there, armchair deejays. Apple Music’s got nothing on us.
Guess who made #1 on the Mainstream Emo chart*? THESE GUYS!
ABOUT FUCKING TIME this band got the recognition they deserve. Yes, I know I have posted this before.
* SiriusXM’s “Alt 18”
/yes, I would be hipster garbage if I had any fashion sense or social skills

New School Zero shows up and everything goes to shit.
I’m not sure I’m going to like the next puzzle, “Who’s OSZ’s real dad?”
Speaking of, did you gents end up going to Puzzled Pint?
The 1987 Denver Broncos?

[ashamed silence]
Fine. Then I’m going to write a puzzle post this week. TAKE THAT.
What is “a threat I would genuinely like to see carried out” plus “Old School Zero’s favorite band”, Alex.
Yeah, it was a little too short notice and we couldn’t pull it off. Also, SOMEONE has to get ready for their vacation in Mexico… (hint: not me)
You’re going to stock up on prescription-free pharmaceuticals while you’re down there, right Rikki?
