When I got the embed to work, I copied the link that had a bunch of html on it. It wasn’t the short links that I see in your posts. Keep in mind, I only saw that option because I was using the YouTube website, not the app and my phone browser was on desktop mode, not mobile.

As far as embedding goes, it doesn’t appear you can with a tablet, or so people have said. I use a laptop.
Anyway, what works for me is going to the youtube video you want, clicking on the “Share” tab, clicking on the “embed” button there, and copying the link. I come back here, paste, and hit post.
Works for me, anyway.
When I do that I get nothing. Blank post.
That’s why I went back to just dropping the link.
Which I suppose I will continue to do until you elitists decide to let us all in on the magic.
