I’m off to lovely Turlock, CA* early Monday morning, so I’m too busy packing to put in too much of a preamble to this edition of DFO Radio except to announce that it hits the ground running and doesn’t slow down until over 100 songs later, where it closes out with a lengthy and haunting version of “Minstrel Boy”. The pub crawl was a blast (and partially responsible for me lagging on getting my chores done today) and there’s a mini-mart along the route that is completely out of SPONCH! courtesy of Balls of Steel’s generosity. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this week’s Request Line; I’m not exaggerating when I tell you that this is a really good one. For those so inclined, here’s the Spotify link.
*Where is Tuclock, you ask? Do you know where Modesto is? No? Um, Stockton? How about Fresno? It’s like 2 hours away from Fresno. No reputable airline flies anywhere CLOSE to this place.
**Sorry no doodle this week – couldn’t think of anything!
I also want to go on record that the pub crawl folks actually sampled…
Haggis!
It was way tastier than I expected.
I would only go to Turlock to get directions on how to get away from Turlock.
It’s a good time to be making fun of Stockton:

The DFO rolled through, held the store at finger-gunpoint and reached peak SPONCH! It was quite the day.
I used to date a girl from the Turlock area. I don’t recommend it.
SPONCH! and beer is not a terrible combination. From what I remember.
Going to Turlock or dating that girl?
Yes.
What he said.
