Results day is here! You all have a good Thanksgiving first though? Over 1,000 comments on yesterdays #content. I was good for five or ten myself so ass-slaps all around! Unless, of course, such a move would be uninvited on anyone, in which case those individuals get tiny American flags.
AMERICAN FLAGS, BEERGUYRON!
My Thanksgiving headaches are all today (wife is nurse so worked yesterday), starting with a nice little road trip to Tucson to see the family including my recently-made-up-with-my-parents-and-siblings drama queen brother. So the potential entertainment at dinner is quite high. I’m bringing my gun down so I can go shooting out in the desert, rather than talking to my family, while waiting for food.
Finally, I see on Good Morning America (AMERICA, BEERGUYROSS) — which is basically just one long commercial for Black Friday promotion — that you all should be shopping today. Though the Amazon lady said Keurigs have been a big seller so far today….hmmm, I wonder who might need to replace their busted Keurigs…
Anyways, here’s your results.
This was a good week for quotables efforts. Lots of contenders for winners for each. I’m just happy to be here, and the good Lord willing, to help the ball club.
Look at Blax, working hard here on America’s tryptophan hangover day.
He’s our Christian McCaffrey.

Tucson is a lovely town. My family used to go there frequently when I was little. I passed by about a year ago and it seemed pretty nice still.
I like Tucson cause I almost lost my virginity to a girl from there.
“Almost” lost your virginity…or…”almost” a girl…?
See, that’s the thing about Tucson – if you don’t gotta spend any considerable amount of time there, it seems nice. i lived there for years (and still have an office down there) and it’s an absolutely terrible place. Dirty, poverty, horrible roads, inept city leadership, unappealing business relations — Tucson is a ‘liberal stronghold’ whose three largest (by far) employers are Raytheon, the University (who does assloads of war research), and the Air Force base.
Fortunately my parents are actually out north of town so i don’t even have to pass through Tucson.
Sorry – but I do feel the need to rip on that place any chance i get.
I’ve passed by/thru Tucson on more occasions than I can count. I’ve spent considerable time there on only a couple of occasions.
I can confirm what blax is saying. Passing thru is better.
You are correct. That city is almost as tied into the military as San Diego. And yes, I’ve witnessed the city leadership, um… lets call it “void”.
The north of town is definitely the best part.
