“Hark, the Herald Angels Sing” is probably one of my favorite carols, maybe because it’s Mendelssohn and I’m a snob when it comes to music. Comes with the territory of being a Classical musician, I suppose. Speaking of… here’s what I was whistling while washing dishes last night.

Once again, massive nerd don’t ask.

As for the Weaselo household, it’ll be a quiet Christmas. Most of our gifts are in the mail (I bought everything two days ago) so Madre Weaselo joked that we’ll be celebrating Orthodox Christmas/Little Christmas (Epiphany, January 6th). Both parental units are working—Padre Weaselo’s playing Christmas service, and Madre Weaselo works in a hospital and someone’s gotta work Christmas, especially COVID Christmas. Hermana Weaselo, living upstate, couldn’t come down because now her landlords have the ‘rona. I guess we’ll all see her at some point. She Facetimed us last night and’ll probably do so again later today.

And… holy ass, there’s Friday afternoon football? Well, I’m sure there’ll be a thread for Vikes-Saints later. Let me take this time to adjust my fantasy roster (it’s Spam vs. me for the tWBS Memorial League crown, the classic 8 vs. 3 matchup).

Personally I’ll be watching March of the Wooden Soldiers at 1:00. As is tradition.
