God, how I love me some prime rib! I adore every aspect of the experience, from picking the piece out, hauling it home, picking out and prepping the sides, who’s going to be a good roasted fingerling potato? You are! Yes you are and gently, lovingly fondling that meat, putting it into the fridge and taking it out, letting it come up to temp, roasting, cutting, devouring, rubbing my belly afterwards-just a wonderful adventure each and every time.

Did I make one yesterday? Nope. As per, some infighting left details to the last day and one does not rush perfection, so my closest lovelies will be doing one on NYE. CAN’T WAIT!

-After starting the season 3-2, the Niners have lost their last 6 of 7. This is no “Super Bowl Hangover”, this is a full force injury gale.

-And so we are delighted to have C.J. Beathard behind center today. He said, “I’ve got nothing to lose”, because he knows that as an average, inadequate backup qb, if he gets cut he’ll just pick up another job elsewhere. The NFL loves those milky, pasty ‘known’ quantities so very much, don’t they?

-The Cards need a W today and a loss by the Bears tomorrow so that they won’t have to do the sweating out thing the last week of the season.

-The Niner that has benefited the most from all the injury carnage has been rook wr Brandon Aiyuk. The fella has grabbed a TD or gone for 100 yards every week since the third one. One tends to put up numbers if one a.) has ability, and b.) is getting targeted an average of 12.4 times per game.
