We will NOT be requesting songs this week – but next week’s topic will be The Cleveland Browns so feel free to jot down any ideas for incidents/aspects of the franchise you think will be worth addressing, and next week I’ll compile them into a list for us to request songs about.
Some topics we’ll be tackling:
Cuyahoga river fire
Bottlegate
Imperfect Season
Original team’s move to Baltimore
Jim Brown goes to Hollywood
Orlando Brown getting hit in the eye with a flag and assaulting the ref.
Swagger the dog dying at age 6.
In the next room I can hear the Roomba flailing around trying to reach its base after I set it down literally five feet in front of it pointing straight towards it.
It took three tries before it eventually managed to get into the cradle successfully. Even when I put it down eighteen inches in front of it, it still managed to fail. It’s actually quite breathtaking in its ineptitude.
You must have one of those Warner Brother’s vacuums. The UltramaRoonba.
This turned out pretty cool. What do you think of citing the relevant commentist, a la quotables?
Oh, yeah, I should probably do that. I think as we have more practice we’ll get better, too.
This has nothing to do with anything, but someone was claiming the other day they didn’t know what a glory hole is, so for educational porpoises:
That was me… and for the record, it turns out that I was unclear on the name, not the concept. In my defence, uhhh… “valid excuse here”
If you’re not sure just put your mouth over any hole in the wall and see what happens. It’s like E harmony for truckers.
Thats ROCKING!
Brier picks are up at the office pools site. Same as the Scotties but without all the hot ladies in tight pants. Keep in mind Newfoundland isn’t Gushue as he is team Canada. The rest of the Newfoundland teams are a huge drop from his rink. and northern Ontario is very good too.
I am DFO BCDick and if you do that too we can all be clustered together alphabetically in 1,308th place.
Should the Browns just be “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” on an endless loop?
I bet Balls will show up and just request every song from The Cure’s “Disintegration” in order.
Soy un perdedor.
That would be fitting. I thought of this song for the browns. Not for the lyrics but for some the feeling. It sounds like what I think browns fans feel.

Red Right 88, of course.
