So we just not doing Sundays anymore?

Good day to you! We need something to look at and chat on this Sunday as we are the week off between the conference finals and the Superb Owl. So here is a quick Karen Carpenter for you. Do I have anything to say? No. Will this feed the DFO content monster? Sure.

I am really getting in to Italian wines this winter and I really don’t know why. When I wrote my somm exam  many years ago it was the country that I did not spend much time on as France and the Iberian peninsula were more important for me to learn. I think it has to do with all the weirdo indigenous grapes that they grow there and I didn’t have time to memorize them. Anywhoo I am all over the boot this winter.  I’ve always been an Amarone fan as they are full bodied and silky, but they are quite expensive. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative then get yourself a Ripassa and let it sit for an hour. A trick I used to use when I was backpacking is that I used to bring a juice jug with me. When at a picnic or whatever pour the wine in the juice jug and then back into the bottle and it now has been double aerated.

The only thing that I can think of that is on today is the AFCON final or as I like to call it the Hippo Hate final as Mane and Salah will be getting slobbered all over no matter the country of origin of your announcing team. Egypt has won this thing quite a few times judging by the stars on their kits, so let’s have Senegal win. As an aside I think it is hilarious that the hosts Cameroon aren’t here and they got stomped by the Burkina Fascists in the third place game. I get in the Olympics having the bronze medal game but why the hell do they do this. No one wants to be there , however the coup in Burkina Faso probably means they don’t really want to go home either.

There is also the Olympics but it most likely will be tape delayed.

Yam FC continues there surprising start atop LigaMx and they play Queretaro, Teddy Atlas plays Santos, and the Tigers take on El Buccanero.
