Your Final NFL Christmas Football Open Thread

This is the last one, I promise. Well, until tomorrow that is. It’s been a long day filled with various levels of obligations and though I put this together around 2pm I can tell you that my belly is now filled with turkey, stuffing and all the other fixin’s. I may marinate it all in scotch, I’m not sure just yet.

To The Game!

Bucs/Cards:

-One would think that Tampa would have a blessed advantage here what with Trace McSorely breaking his starting cherry but they’ve lost to the likes of Pickett/Truth Biscuit, P.J. Walker and Purdy Mouth.

-Still, from the outside looking in it would seem that Arizonny has thrown in the towel on the season. Or maybe they’re just not a functioning team because their situation player-wise has been dire and disjointed all season long. There was that D-Hop suspension, then injuries to Marquise Brown and then Ertz and then Rondale Moore and who can forget Kyler going down in a heap? That mess may have something to do with their offense last year being ranked 8th and this year falling to 21st.

-Will Rashaad White have himself a day? The Arizona State product is doing that whole ‘coming home’ thingy to a Cards D that just gave up 130 yards to 32 year-old Latavius Murray.

-Brady has been sacked a league-low 19 times but J.J. Watt is at 9.5 sacks and if he gets to 10 a million dollar bonus kicks in. Money does tend to talk.
