Golf Update

Last week, I played two rounds of golf, one on Tuesday and another on July 4th. The one on Tuesday went really well as I got off to a rocky start but then improved steadily through the round and I ended up with one of my best scores at that course. I lowered my handicap to 30.3. I am tantalizingly close to getting in the 20s…

Thursday didn’t go as well. It was a weird round. I got a LOT of pars. I think it’s the round that I’ve gotten the most pars in my entire life. However, I also had a LOT of blowup holes. I had a Snowman orgy plus a 9 for good measure. They ended up cancelling each other out and it wasn’t a great scoring day.

It’s still good practice, though, for my next tournament coming up a week from now.

Copa América

Colombia takes on Panamá while Uruguay plays Brasil. I fully expect Colombia to overpower Panamá. It’s halftime as this post gets published and I bet you it’s 2-0 already.

Uruguay-Brasil is going to be a barn burner. It’s a shame it’s not a semifinal or a final. It would kinda suck if they went to penalties as I find that a sorta unjust way to settle things but you’ve got to practice penalties too.

Just look at France. Those penalties they took were exquisite. Scored all five and the majority were unstoppable. Gotta give them credit for that.

Y’all know that Biden doubling down on staying in the race is just handing the election to Trump, right? Hell, I think having RFK run as a Democrat is their only hope but I haven’t noticed any pigs flying around my neighborhood. Can y’all just run Gavin Newsom and get him the fuck out of California? We would appreciate it.

I tell you what, I may just have to vote for RFK Jr.’s brain worm and hard nips. That’s a winning ticket right there! You have to admit that he is in way better shape than Biden and Trump combined!

For as much as I find Elon annoying, I think he should get into the politics game. He can buy media coverage and set up a legitimate third party. Another tantalizing idea is to have Bezos run and Lauren Sanchez become First Slut.

And then Bezos dies of a mysterious STD and she becomes Slut In Chief. That would be great!
