We made it! Actually, it was very easy-everything is shiny and new and wonderful. Unless your disappointing team lost, which they probably did. Damn it!
To The Game!
Rams/Lions:
-All eyes look towards Detroit for the first time since Henry Ford was blaming the Jews for…everything. Those damn Protocols!
-It sorta looked like Stafford was on the downslope, what with nagging injuries piling up but then a certain Nacua popped up out of nowhere, Kyren was a surprise and the whole offense picked it up several notches. They were perhaps the unlikeliest playoff team (after Houston) given what was expected of them at the start of the season.
-It’ll be interesting to see how long McVay has Williams returning punts. Is the return unit that bad? Has rook rb Blake Corum impressed that much? Or is this short term shenanigans for shenanigans sake? Seems an odd choice.
-The Lions have steady vet Goff back there at qb but pretty much everything else is bright, shiny, new and gifted. There’s dynamic talent spilling over everywhere-Gibbs, LaPorta and St. Brown can hang with anyone and barring injury they will at least make it back to the NFC Champeenship. No idea who the GM for Detroit is (and why look it up?) but that guy deserves a raise.
-I haven’t touched on the highly pedigreed(?) Jameson Williams who should make some strides this year given that he’ll never see a #1 db for any long period of time.
-Oh right-you’ll hear this all year long but Goff plays in a dome 14 games this season.
That’s it-it’s all you now.
