Another golf double-header for me this weekend. I played in a tournament today and I’ve got another one tomorrow. Today’s tourney was a standard scoring type while tomorrow’s is a unique format I’ve never played: A one-man scramble. Apparently, you get to hit every shot twice (except you can only do that for tee shots on three holes on the front and three on the back) and pick your best to play from. That should come in handy in case of fuckups. I’ll let you know how that goes…

Current Events

This week was a short week at work thanks to the Presidents Day holiday in the US. We dared to look at the calendar and were bummed to see that there are no more holidays until Memorial Day in May. I plan on taking many vacation days. I can’t do full months any more. No patience for it.

I’m progressing on my goals at a satisfactory pace. I’ve completed all the reading and I’m now doing extra credit. Also, one of the people I’ve mentored was recently promoted. More promotions may be coming in May.

In this space, I will tell you what I’m drinking as I type this post. Today’s drink is: Monster Energy Ultra Blue Hawaiian Zero Sugar. I think Monster has finally figured out that the Ultra flavours are the way to go. They keep bringing out new ones and they’re all delicious.
