Sorry for the delay on the post, but I was busy being a productive citizen yesterday.
Week 2 is here and once again, 506 Sports details the TV coverages for Sunday.
Here’s the link: http://506sports.com/
National Games are as follows:
TNF: Jets @ Bills. The first short-week TNF game is today. Both teams are looking for their first win. This is a Color Rush game, because apparently we need those.
SNF: Packers @ Minnesota. Before Bridgewater went down, I would have rated this a good matchup. Then again, the Packers weren’t exactly worldbeaters against the Jags last week. I do not know what to expect from this one.
MNF: Eagles @ Bears. Two subpar to middling big market teams, it’s a perfect fit for an ESPN MNF broadcast.
On to the Sunday games, we have an 8:5 early-late spread, which is abnormal.
CBS Early

Bengals @ Steelers (Red): Early bout between the two strongest AFC North teams. Both teams are 1-0. Most of the country gets to see this one.
Dolphins @ Patriots (Blue): This one is limited to the Northeast and the place were people from the Northeast retire. As always Fuck the Greatriots.
Chiefs @ Texans (Green): This one is featured in the breadbasket states and parts of California. I see the presence of the Rams will have wonderous effects on the broadcasts in CA for now on.
Titans @ Lions (Yellow): Mostly contained to their core markets, but Oregon gets to behold Marcus Mariota’s inevitable ignominious demise as a viable QB.
Ravens @ Browns (Orange…wait no, Brown….ah Orange-Brown…no ah Cuyahoga River, yes that’s the one): You have my sympathies if you have to watch this one. The miserable Browns versus a rebuilding Ravens.
CBS Late

Colts @ Indy (Red): Peyton Manning? Peyton Manning. Peyton Manning! #Peyton Manning. It’s Jeem and Pheel so I actually expect most of the broadcast to just be discussions of Peyton Manning.
Falcons @ Raiders (Blue): Fairly limited to the core markets. Raiders are a team on the rise while the Falcons just seem to exist in sustained mediocrity.
Jags @ Chargers (Green): HAHAHAHAHA LOOK AT THE CHARGERS BROADCAST IN CALIFORNIA. MORE TERRITORY IN GEORGIA WILL BROADCAST THE GAME THAN IN CALIFORNIA. HAHAHAHAHA FUCK OFF KING MARMALADE.
Fox Early & Late

Cowboys @ Redskins (Blue): One of these teams will have a win after this game unfortunately. Also most of the country gets to witness this debacle.
Saints @ Giants (Green): Core markets and West Palm Beach see this one. A declining Saints vs. a rebuilding Giants, not as enticing a match-up as it was in years past.
49ers @ Panthers (Orange/Brown): Again, mostly core markets. You’ll probably hear more about the national anthem for this one than the actual game itself. I expect the Panthers to roll the 9ers.
Seahawks @ Rams (Red & Late Game): The first regular season game in LA for decades. Can Pornstache’s magic abilities against far superior teams continue? I give this one the FEMA Quarantine Map Game of the Week Award since of the random, spread-out distributions.
Bucs @ Cards (Yellow & Late Game): Mostly just the primary markets here. I do not have much to say about this match-up.
Enjoy.
