DFO Radio: Exit Music (For a Season)

This week’s special edition of Request Line was intended to deliver some much-needed catharsis to those of us who witnessed the most inexplicable choke job in the history of the Super Bowl, and for myself I’m happy to say that it really did help.  I haven’t felt much of an urge to watch any highlights of the game; I’m pretty happy to close the door on this season.  We’ll just let our first track – the closing music from “Reservoir Dogs” – give one final nod to the Aaron Hernandez version of the vaunted Patriot Way (gunshots, police sirens, more gunshots, and finally silence) and then we can close the door on the 2016-17 football season.  Now let us never speak of it again.
