Yet another week that can’t end fast enough. JUST GET IT OVER WITH, GREGORIAN CALENDAR.

All the lousy players in the NHL are taking a few days off while the better ones increase their chances of injury by participating in some skills stuff that means nothing and a goalies-flaying “game” that may as well be played with three or more pucks. The NBA, seizing upon the opportunity, has no above-.500 teams playing against each other. The Raptors, Hawks, Grizzlies and Bulls will be showing their wares against teams that I can’t be bothered to catalogue. Hey, college ball, do you have anything for us? Well indeed they do. #3 Iowa tackles #8 Maryland, #23 Oregon meets #18 Arizona, #12 MSU is going to crush Northwestern and #25 Notre Dame is up against #87 (with a bullet…to my temple) Syracuse. HAVE AT IT, NE’ER-DO-WELLS.

This actually fucking happened to me last night…

My cell rings. With field engineering, you NEVER call people in the field. You text and/or email them because you never know what our sleep schedule is or even what fucking time zone is. The phone call is reserved for a MAJOR FUCKING EMERGENCY. I’ve even got my insane mother to understand it. So the fucking cell rings and I slam into my hotel room desk trying to find the fucking thing in the dark…
“Hello?”
“Is this JSD?”
“Who the fuck is this?”
“Um…I’m Todd and I represent a recruitment firm that is…”
“Todd…its fucking 3 am. Are you insane?”
“Wait..but its 4pm.”
“Not in Nagasaki. Who gave you this number?”
“Well someone that thinks you would be…”
“Todd I want a FUCKING NAME NOW!”
“JSD, the opportunity available to you…”
“Todd, if you don’t give me the name of the shithead that gave you my contact number, we run the risk of me kicking the shit out of an innocent person. Do you want that?”

Todd hung up. Never found out who fucking gave him my international number or what company he was shilling for.

This has definitely been mentioned before, both in the comments and behind the scenes in the secret DFO lair but the old site’s mothership UP####.com did a girl scout cookie thing and blatantly embedded one of my Komments from the girl scout cookie war post from over a year ago. I mentioned a few things about it since Tuesday.

While working up a scorched Earth response to the post, since I’m still somehow not on the permanently banned list, I noticed that THEY CHANGED THE POST ENTIRELY! If I’m not mistaken and I’m not ruling drunkenness out completely, they changed the post from how to pair GS Cookies with a proper wine (which was already done several times including pairing with your favorite bourbon) they changed it to how each type of cookie was “somebody from your past.”

Goddamn these motherfuckers.

They still left my block Komment and I am still going to burn that motherfucker to the ground.

What the fuck happened to those assholes?
