There was a pitched battle, but I am narrowly giving the Week 8 initial NOBYL Prize to the epically derpy Ted Ginn (seen above, gamely attempting to catch a pass with his chinstrap). 2 catches on 10 targets, with a combined droppage of 140+ yards and 2 TDs…that’s award-worthy. Plus, the fact that after a run-of-the-mill catch, he paused to air write a small novella. That is the cherry on his shit sundae of a performance.
For your reference, his targets were reduced to 4 in Week 9, of which he caught ONE. Jeebus, this asshole.
Brad Wing deserves to be graded on a curve a little bit. Not only is he a goddamned punter, but also an Aussie. Giving him a football shame award when there is another plausible option would be like putting the dunce cap on the kid with Down’s Syndrome. We’re not quite that awful…yet.
Naturally, I’m heartily in favor of Dan Quinn for Week 9, but it probably should be a player. And the people should have their say. So fucking do so, eh?
