Howdy fellow shut-ins!  Lots of stuff going on today.  There were two bowl games, the Birmingham Bowl, which I stopped watching when it was 10-10 and I figured out that both teams were nicknamed the Tigers, and the Belk Bowl, which I stopped watching after the NC State QB threw his 3rd interception in as many series, which not coincidentally was when my son’s viewing of “Varsity Blues” got to the whipped cream scene.

I can’t believe Dawson didn’t nail Ali Larter.  Way to drop the ball Dawson.

Anyhoo we’re back from our latest trip to visit people during what is supposed to be a week off from work.  This trip involved a 40 minute traffic jam covering three miles because some asshole spilled diesel fuel all over the highway.  Inconsiderate SOB.

Anyway, it’s now 9:30 and I’ve got a beer, (Smuttynose Robust Porter, an excellent beer when you’re only having two), and the Music City Bowl on.  This is a sad statement about my life.  You, however, are reading this drivel so I don’t think you’re in any position to judge.  Since it’s agreed we suck let’s hang out in the comments.
