Brazil plays Peru, if they draw, they both advance, if one wins, the loser will not advance if Ecuador wins.
Penguins can clinch their fourth Stanley Cup tonight, while San Jose will try to force a Game 7. Pens outshot the Sharks almost 2:1 Thursday, but a herculean effort by Jones allowed San Jose to live another day.

My backdoor neighbors had their house painted the other day. I am colorblind so I see color less vividly so take this opinion with a grain of salt. It is Purple/Navy Blue (even I can see it’s Purple). I actually like how it looks.

It was going down last night but they kept pretty tight lipped until late morning. They didn’t start releasing names of the dead until this evening. I felt terrible for the families who were waiting to find out, knowing there’s a club full of dead people but not knowing if their loved ones were one of them. That’s gotta be pure agony.

I don’t know, I think the fact that he legally purchased the guns despite having been on an FBI watch list might be able to spur the gun control issue a little further. Had a pretty good Sunday Funday.
Took my wife to Cactus Club on English bay where we got a prime patio seat to people (hurray for living in a super vain city and it being bikini/skimpy clothes season!) and dog watch, which was topped off by surprisingly good food and alcohol. We went for a nice walk and then headed over to this Peruvian restaurant to watch Peru steal a win against Brazil, knocking Brazil out of the Copa America.
Watching it live, I thought it was a blatant handball. Watching it in slow motion, I can’t believe that play was actually reviewed and FIFA still thought it was a good goal. Holy shit, was Ray Charles the video goal judge?
Then finished it off with some more booze and watched the Pens win the cup.
All in all, it was a pretty good day.

Speaking of the Hawks, I just heard Brandon Browner is back with the Hawks. As a CFL fan, I think that’s just wonderful. But as someone who has seen him get a bajillion of PI calls/game, well, I sure hope he’s a system player because the Hawks can’t afford those back breaking calls.
