It’s funny to see Gruden make an appearance here, because just this very morning I was toying with the idea of having him show up in some context to explain the Apple vs. FBI situation.

The “quotes” from Fitch and Gruden have the dual benefit of being both hilarious and somehow sounding like something these assholes would say. This has been incredible work so far.

I’ve been trudging through Season 2 intermittently during weekend yard work. I was in Afghanistan so it was easy to drop right in and understand a lot of what is being discussed but I can see how not having that prior understanding could have made S2 more challenging to get into than S1. But now that I’m to the point where we’re discussing how fucked up all the leadership in the military/government is, I just PTSD out listening to it because it’s true, it’s always been true, and it always will be true. Not even sure if I’m going to continue it at this point. It’s like the Wire, but depressing.
