Today’s/Tonight’s/This morning’s Opening Day match features the Richmond Tigers taking on the Carlton Blues.  Even though Richmond made finals last year and the Blues ended up with the Wooden Spoon, it should be a lot closer than expected.  Maybe some of Hippo’s Donks magic will rub off on the Blues.

I still am learning this game, was rooting for Carlton though because they were the underdog, looks like they have fucked up their lead/chance to win though. 3 hours is enough to see when a team looks beat if you picked up the rules

Well, Richmond made the playoffs (“finals” as they call it) the last three years and Carlton was in last place last year (“Wooden spoon”), but it was really an aberration.

I expect Carlton to be much better and Richmond to come down. If Carlton can hang on to the win today, that will be huge for them.
