Well, that was certainly interesting.

So it was an entertaining weekend.

I for one was happy to see Cleveland pull off the incredible comeback.  Now I can go back to laughing at the Browns without feeling guilty about it.

Today’s Euro action features two games:

Slovakia vs. England: Now that Cleveland has gotten the monkey of horrible, soul-crushing losses off their back, will England be the next to dispel their curse?  Maybe, but this game isn’t really relevant to that; even if they lose to the less talented Slovakia they are virtually guaranteed to make it out of their group.  Of course, if they *did* lose, and *did* fail to emerge from the group stage, it would add another pretty magnificent banner to their legacy.

Russia vs. Wales: There’s a lot more on the line in this game.  A loss or a draw for Russia puts them at the bottom of their group, while Wales is going to to go-for-broke to stay alive in the tournament as well.  Hopefully it leads to some entertaining soccer.
