MARK DAVIS: IT WAS THE MOST FUN I EVER HAD IN MY WHOLE LIFE!

RTD: Yeah, it was pretty great.  Did you have a favorite song?

MARK DAVIS: YEAH I LIKE THE ONE THAT TAO-TE-CUTLER PICKED ON MY BEHALF.

RTD: Really? “California On My Mind” by Wild Light?  I would have thought something about Las Vegas or Nevada would be more appropriate.

MARK DAVIS: [sighs, smiles thinly] Always going for the low-hanging fruit, aren’t you, Rikki?  No subtlety at all.

RTD: But…

MARK DAVIS: Just listen to the lyrics, imbecile.

So that’s a wrap for this season of Request Line.  You folks rock, as does this playlist, also available on Spotify.  I’ll be back to my regular random kontent in short order, and Request Line will be back next season after the Jets’ stunning Cinderella victory in the Super Bowl (yep, you heard it here first).

We’ve gotten so much mileage out of Brett Favre’s dick pics.

Also, I apologize. I keep forgetting since I’ve only contributed a couple of times and all of them recently that there’s a 5 song recommendation cap. I’ll remember that come next season.

I’ve just learned that Walter Becker of Steely Dan died yesterday. I realize that means nothing to most of you, but it should. Personally, Steely Dan was a big influence on me growing up, both musically and otherwise. They were also a big influence on a lot of the acts we all love. So please raise a glass to him.

This England-Slovakia game is playing out just like the England-Iceland game.

Its amazing how bad England is, except in their defense, all the best, better, and decent players in the EPL are all foreigners.

The English National Team is just a collection of overpaid, head cases and divas. I love it. Its like watching a train wreck!
