Well,  those of you that tuned in last Friday and followed along with our AFL Sexy Open Thread know already that the Richmond Tigers are your 2017 AFL Premiership winners!

They started off well before Adelaide reacted and started taking control of the game in the first quarter.  However,  the Crows could not convert the dominance into a lot of points and the Tigers were able to lead by 9 at Half Time.

And that was pretty much it for the Crows. The Tigers came out roaring (sorry) in the second half and outhustled, outmuscled, and outran Adelaide.  The final score was 108-60.

Funnily enough, no one picked Richmond to win, so the standings remained the same:

That’s all for the AFL Beat for this year.  I want to thank you for reading these and getting into this awesome sport that’s run a million times better than the NFL.  This year was one of the best ever and it figures to be that way for a while.  Richmond finished 13th last year and won the whole thing. If they can do it, who is to say that the other teams can’t?
