Last week the theme for Request Line was “On the Clock”. My original conception for the session was songs about being under pressure to make an immediate decision – songs like “Paradise by the Dashboard Lights” was one that came to mind (and eventually showed up). Things immediately took a turn towards the macabre when nomonkeyfun requested Johnny Cash’s “25 Minutes to Go” and I have to say, I really liked it. All in all we’ve got another fine edition of DFO Radio for you, headlined by yeah right’s choice of “Beat the Clock” by Sparks and followed by crowd favorite Buddy Cole’s Off-Season Habit!’s choice of Tame Impala. Enjoy!
Everyone hated the “Request Line was “On the Cock”. ” misread joke. This is a goddamn dick joke blog. Oh well.
I’m two weeks behind in listening to request line. Damn you, meetings!
Sorry I missed this past week’s Request Line. The irony is that I spent my morning frantically trying to get updates out for my company’s new website launch, where things decided to break themselves at the last moment.
Anyway, I would have definitely requested this one:

Damn, between the Alan Parsons and INXS songs, I’m hearing stuff I haven’t heard in decades. Thanks as always for compiling this!
I can’t believe I forgot this one. Thought of it as I was trying to get a Keurig cup made before being unfashionably late for a stupid conference call yesterday.
