Your “Wednesday, July 25, 2018” Open Thread

I’ve been researching but I still don’t totally understand how open threads are titled. So, a date stamp should be adequate? I mean, July 25th? Can I say that?

Admittedly, that was forced.

• Jerruh has made it clear that Cowboys players will “stand at the anthem, toe on the line” and does not support players staying in the locker room.
  • Do what you want, Wild Thing, my straight-from-Big-D manager says he ain’t coming back to the NFL anytime soon until you get those [I wouldn’t say it but Papa John would] under control.
• Khalil Mack will be sitting out as Raiders camp kicks off.
  • Not a surprise as he has not participated in any team activities as he awaits an extension on his rookie contract (this is his final year and he’s slated to make $13.8 million)
    • RAMMIT’s Aaron Donald, the reigning NFL DPOTY, will also be sitting out (also in his final year, he’s slated to make just $6.9 million).
      • Considering ARI seems to want to model their offensive line after the Seahawks, I’m all for Donald holding out until Christmas, when the two teams are done facing off.
• Jim Kelly has donated a custom chopper to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
