Belated Lesser Footy and JV Open Thread

As we speak, Palace have roared back to take a 2-1 lead on City.  At the Etihad.  BANANACAKES!!  There is also Hammers/Moose Hornets and White Power/Barcodes on NBC Gold.

United look for their new manager bump in the spotlight dance (12:30, NBC) in the easiest setting possible – home to Cardiff.

Bayern have a key road fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt (12:30, FS2).  That is mildly interesting.  German sides have such aggressive sounding names.

Tomorrow is all about Spurs at Toffees (11:00, NBCSN), a belter of an appetizer for the Last Real RedZone of the 2018 season.  Everton really need to at least get a point here, show they are serious.

Seems like our Young Boys have run off with their Sugar Daddies on vacation.  No fixtures this weekend.

Wake Forest (+3.5) v. Memphis, Annoying Jewelry Ads Bowl (Birmingham, AL – Noon, ESPN)

The Deacons are pesky and annoying, as their road win over my Shitty Wolves will attest.  Memphis seems like they choke a lot, so I put $50 on Wake.  Keep the afternoon lively.

Houston (+7??) v. Army, Salute to Jingoism Bowl (Fort Worth, TX – 3:30, ESPN)

I have to go with the JV 500s here ($50 at +220 ML), because I simply refuse to believe Army is any good.  Yes, a defense contractor is the sponsor.

Buffalo (-1) v. Troy, Too Cheap For K-Mart Bowl (Mobile, AL – 7:00, ESPN)

Yes, apparently Mobile is shitty even fer Alabama standards.  One has to like Buffalo here, it’s just ONE dude, man.

Hawaii (Pick ’em) v. Louisiana Tech, Hawai’i Bowl (Honolulu, HI – 10:30, ESPN)

Critical home island advantage has to come into play here.  But you may need professional help if cray-cray enough to stay up and watch this slop.
