Request Line: Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems

This is a short version of the theme, but I’ll tell you a quick story first….

tWBS: You’re already bought and paid for.

Last summer, I was in California.  I met a young lady whom I thought was wonderful and really cared about me.  Turns out, she only really cared about my checkbook.

Now, she’s not alone in that attitude.  But the thing is, this time, I never saw it coming from her.

I’ve been lucky in life in a lot of ways, though not as far as romance.   Not even close.

Bottom line….. She was more interested in what I could do for her financially, rather than what we could do for one another emotionally.  That was eye opening.

Meh.

So today, it’s songs about Money .  It can be money, dollars, finance, banks, bankruptcy, whatever.
