CFL to resume play for 2021

BREAKING NEWS: Thanks to a unanimous vote by the CFL Board of Governors on Monday, June 14th, the Canadian Football League will resume play as of August 5th, 2021! In addition, the official 2021 schedule has been released, and you can check it out here for further information.

As a result of this fantastic news, the CFL Beat will officially be returning to publication on July 15th to get everyone ramped up and ready for the new season… I look forward to bringing you weekly updates on the weirdest league in North American pro sports.
